I’m the proud owner and one of the instructors at this dive center, which is also your home away from home.
Let me share with you my story with the sea, which is longer than a week without Friday.
It all began a long time ago, when I was just a kid. My earliest memories involve me glued to the TV, watching documentaries about marine animals.
My mom, who’s always been as resourceful as MacGyver’s bag, would put on those documentaries to calm me down with sharks and colorful reefs whenever I got nervous or started whining about something.
Well, yes, since I was a little kid, I knew what I wanted to be: a marine biologist.
But, with one thing and another, I ended up serving coffees instead of analyzing whales.
That’s life!
But… That’s a thorn in my side, and hopefully one day I can pull it out.
Even though I haven’t been able to study the matter officially, I have more fish books than Jacques Cousteau’s library.
I’m a sea freak… 😬💘🐠

It was the perfect opportunity to become a divemaster and instructor, and step into the professional level.
I jumped in and spent almost two months surrounded by fantastic people, sharing accommodations, laughter, burnt sandwiches, and adventures.
Although we’ve hardly seen each other since, we still keep in touch and exchange ‘how are you?’s from time to time.
I met wonderful people from whom I learned a lot and with whom I share unforgettable memories. An experience I would repeat a million times
And so, my adventure as a diver came to an end for me, and my journey as an instructor began, because as Karlos, Cruz, and Diego (my instructors in the IDC course) used to say, you never forget the instructor who accompanies you on your first dive.
I’ve always wanted to be that instructor who treats each person who dares to try this unforgettable experience with care and safety.
Because once you dive into the water, all surface problems fade away.
